Business Analyst – Card Payments Dublin | On-siteWe're recruiting on behalf of a global payments and financial technology organisation for an experienced Business Analyst with strong card payments expertise to join a critical delivery team in Dublin.This role is centred on card-based transaction processing, supporting complex initiatives across authorisation, clearing, pricing, and scheme-driven change.The roleYou'll work closely with cross-functional teams to uncover, analyse, and document business requirements, enabling the delivery of robust, scalable card payment solutions.Key responsibilitiesGather, analyse, and document business requirements for card payments and transaction processingProduce detailed data mappings across source and target systemsDefine user stories and acceptance criteria within an Agile / SAFe environmentAssess client requirements against existing platform functionalityTranslate complex payment workflows into clear, actionable requirementsEvaluate post-production impacts and stakeholder outcomesWhat we're looking for5–6 years' experience as a Business Analyst in complex delivery environmentsHands-on card payments experience (authorisation, clearing and/or settlement)Strong understanding of transaction processing, transaction pricing, and scheme feesAgile experience (SAFe preferred) with strong JIRA usageAbility to work independently and adapt quickly to changing prioritiesStrong communication skills across technical and non-technical stakeholdersNice to haveSQL scripting experienceBackground in financial services or payments technologyExperience modelling transaction workflows and supporting software delivery
