Mechanical Technician - Manufacturing Client
CREGG are now hiring a Technician to work Evening Shift onsite with a leading multinational Medical Device company in Galway.
Candidates with production line maintenance or strong mechanical/electrical background encouraged to apply!
About the role
The successful candidate will work on the evening shift: 39hr week Monday-Friday 2.30pm-*****pm.
Opportunities to transfer to day shift after 12 months.
Requirements
Strong Electro/Mechanical or Maintenance background with hands on equipment problem solving.
Troubleshooting & Fault Finding Skills - Carry out scheduled & un-scheduled Preventative Maintenance.
Yield Management - Ability to manage yield on an hour by hour basis and analyse trends and identify opportunities for improvement.
Carry out preventative and corrective maintenance, completing all associated paperwork and records.
Communication skills.
Ability to explain and communicate issues effectively.
Key Responsibilities
Build Quality into all aspects of work by maintaining compliance to all quality requirements.
Work with Manufacturing Engineers in developing, troubleshooting, standardising and improving existing production methods and procedures.
Assist MEs in investigating and implementing new production methods.
Assist MEs in design methods, part sourcing and documentation.
