Job Description: Aviation Software Sales Executive
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Aviation Software Sales Executive to join our growing team. This role will focus on promoting and selling our aviation software solutions designed for aircraft transition management, MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul), parts procurement, and resource management.
The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of the aviation industry, excellent relationship-building skills, and a proven track record in enterprise software sales. You will work closely with airlines, MRO providers, leasing companies, and OEMs to understand their operational challenges and position our solutions as the single source of truth for efficiency, compliance, and cost savings.
Key Responsibilities
* Drive new business opportunities and achieve sales targets for aviation software solutions.
* Identify, qualify, and engage prospects including airlines, MROs, lessors, and OEMs.
* Present tailored software demonstrations to highlight value in aircraft transition, MRO planning, parts procurement, and resource management.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders (procurement managers, engineering leads, operations executives, and IT decision-makers).
* Collaborate with product and marketing teams to refine go-to-market strategies and customer messaging.
* Develop proposals, negotiate contracts, and manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to closure.
* Provide market intelligence and customer feedback to support continuous product development.
* Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and client workshops.
Qualifications & Experience
* Proven track record in B2B enterprise software sales, preferably within aviation, aerospace, or industrial sectors.
* Strong knowledge of aircraft lifecycle management, MRO operations, supply chain, or procurement processes.
* Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
* Ability to engage senior stakeholders and influence decision-making.
* Self-driven, target-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, global environment.
* Experience using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) to manage pipeline and reporting.
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Aviation Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Preferred Skills
* Familiarity with aviation regulatory requirements (EASA, FAA, CAAC).
* Understanding of digital transformation trends in aviation (Industry 4.0, predictive maintenance, AI/ML in MRO).
* Network within airlines, lessors, and MRO organizations.
* Ability to translate technical software solutions into tangible business benefits.
