You will work closely with the Project Manager, Site Manager, subcontractors, and design teams to ensure works are delivered safely, on programme, and to the highest quality standards.This role offers genuine autonomy, exposure to complex residential builds, and the opportunity to progress within a well‑resourced and forward‑thinking development organisation.Key ResponsibilitiesSet out works accurately in accordance with drawings, specifications, and programme requirementsManage and coordinate subcontractors and direct labour on siteEnsure all works are carried out in line with health & safety regulations and company proceduresOversee quality control, inspections, and snagging processesLiaise with design teams to resolve technical queries and manage design changesMonitor progress against programme and report on engineering and site activitiesAssist in the preparation of method statements, risk assessments, and site documentationSupport junior engineers and contribute to team development on siteWhat you'll need to succeedA degree in Civil Engineering or a related construction discipline8+ years' experience in a site‑based engineering role, ideally on residential or mixed‑use developmentsStrong setting‑out and technical capabilityProven experience working with subcontractors and multidisciplinary site teamsA solid understanding of Irish building regulations and health & safety requirementsExcellent organisational and communication skillsA proactive, solutions‑focused approach with the ability to work independentlyWhat you'll get in returnYou will be joining a leading private residential developer that is at the forefront of housing delivery in Ireland.
