My client is a long established leader in the Irish Construction industry working across Ireland and Europe delivering a wide array of construction projects across many sectors. They are now hiring for a new position within the group where the successful candidate will lead the Quality & Continuous Improvement function across the business. You will lead a team of Quality Control and Quality Assurance professionals both site based and head office based. These team members cover all aspects of construction quality management on sites across Ireland and Europe. Responsibilities will include Ensure quality team adherence to Quality assurance and Quality Control plans Conduct regular QC audits of field activities. Review vendors and sub contractors and ensure correct execution and adherence to company quality processes. Ensure that all appropriate personnel are fully trained on company quality systems and any new technology introduced. Promoting LEAN construction processes & tools, best practice, improvements and sharing Lessons Learned across projects. Continuous research into new technologies and best practices across the industry and presenting same to the board for implementation if deemed necessary and of value. Review of all training and employee support across the group. Continuous review and keeping up to date with building regulations across the various jurisdictions. mentoring and leadership of the quality team.
