We work hard to automate our processes as much as possible to deliver reliable and timely information to our clients.We are seeking a Client Accountant that will be based in our Limerick office to oversee the accounting and financial reporting for a portfolio of clients, primarily UK and Ireland. This role reports directly to our Accounting Manager and works closely with accounting, payroll, and corporate secretarial colleagues across the three Amesto Global offices in Ireland, Spain, and the USA.Key Responsibilities· Collect accounting data/information (bank, sales and vendor invoices. payroll etc.) and review for accuracy and completeness before processing in accounting software.· Prepare and deliver monthly management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations to agreed delivery date.· Prepare and file VAT, VIES, and Annual RTD returns to the Revenue Commissioner / HMRC.· Assist with the preparation of the annual statutory financial statements.· Liaise with the Client's auditors in relation to year-end audit requirements, where relevant.· Complete tax registrations for various tax heads.· Liaise with the Client's tax advisors in relation to annual corporate income tax return as well as the relevant tax authorities.· Assist with client payments, including uploading supplier, employee expenses, net wages, pensions, and tax payments.· Foster client relationships and ensure that client requirements and statutory reporting deadlines are met.· Perform any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.Qualifications, skills & requirements· Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, ACA, CIMA) with 2 years PQE.· Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance, or a related field.· Strong knowledge of Ireland and UK accounting principles and financial reporting.· IT proficiency in accounting software packages such as Xero and Bright Accounts Production and MS office suite (others such as Xledger and NetSuite is an advantage).· Excellent attention to detail and organisational and time-management skills.· Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.· Strong ability to multi-task, manage competing priorities, work well under pressure and meet deadlines.WHAT WE OFFER· We are based in Limerick and have flexible policy on starting times.
