Job Summary
The Senior Planner will support the Supply Planning Manager in meeting functional and corporate goals, managing the day-to-day supply planning for a specific group of products within the Integrated Systems network. Key responsibilities include creating the kitting production schedule, liaising with West’s third-party distribution center, procuring components, and coordinating cross-functionally to ensure smooth operations. Initial onboarding and training will be based at our headquarters in Exton, PA, USA.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
* Plan and schedule customer orders to ensure on-time delivery.
* Create master kitting and testing schedules aligned with customer promise dates.
* Coordinate with third-party distribution centers for inbound and outbound logistics.
* Prepare purchase orders and monitor delivery progress.
* Review and manage MRP for assigned components.
* Support SAP master data setup for new materials.
* Oversee inventory control processes at the distribution center.
* Maintain relationships with vendors and internal facilities.
* Balance requirements planning with logistics and warehousing considerations.
* Communicate delivery concerns and escalate issues as needed.
* Utilize SAP, Excel, and other systems for forecasting and planning.
* Review vendor performance and support improvement initiatives.
* Perform other duties as assigned.
Education
* Bachelor's Degree in supply chain or related field required.
* Master's Degree preferred.
Work Experience
* Minimum 5 years in supply chain management required.
* Proficiency in MS Office and SAP (MM/SD/QM modules).
* Experience with master production scheduling and Material Requirements Planning.
* Experience in pharma or regulated industries preferred.
