Senior Accounting Professional

Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare year-end non-audit company accounts and working papers up to review stage.
* Reconcile balance sheet items, including VAT, payroll, leases, hire purchases, and fixed assets.
* Apply solid knowledge of accounting principles to post journals onto accounting software accurately.
* Assist in the preparation of management accounts.
* Prepare statutory financial statements, ensuring compliance with deadlines, checklists, and procedural requirements.
* Support year-end close processes, including the preparation of year-end journals.
* Assist in the preparation of Corporation Tax returns.
* Liaise with clients over the phone and through written correspondence.
* Provide assistance to managers on special client projects and assignments.
Requirements:
* Apart from being part-qualified ACA/ACCA accountant, minimum of 2+ years of general accounting practice experience is required.
* Results-driven with strong technical abilities and financial acumen is essential.
* Excellent communication skills with a strong focus on customer care are expected.
* Highly organized with excellent planning abilities.
* Proficient in both written and spoken English.
* Ability to work independently and take initiative. Intermediate to advanced Excel skills preferred.
* Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite.
