Key Responsibilities
The Commercial Project Manager will play a pivotal role in driving business transformation towards operational excellence. This includes implementing a unified enterprise resource planning platform and harmonizing global business processes across all regions.
This individual will lead and coordinate commercial workstreams, covering sales and service, to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of project outcomes. Close collaboration with subject matter experts, process owners, and application specialists is required. Strong cross-functional alignment across global teams is essential.
This position is critical to embedding sustainable transformation within the organization. It ensures that new processes, systems, and ways of working are successfully adopted across all regions.
1. Planning & Coordination
* Develop and maintain detailed sub-project plans aligned with overall program timelines.
* Coordinate and oversee workstream activities, ensuring dependencies and priorities are effectively managed.
* Provide regular progress updates, highlighting risks, issues, and mitigation actions.
2. Stakeholder Management
* Act as the main point of contact for stakeholders within the assigned workstream.
* Ensure stakeholder requirements are understood, validated, and reflected in solution design and delivery.
3. Scope & Requirements Management
* Support the collection, validation, and documentation of business requirements.
* Define and control workstream scope throughout the project lifecycle.
* Collaborate with process owners and application specialists to translate business needs into effective system functionality.
4. Risk & Issue Management
* Identify, assess, and monitor risks within the workstream.
* Elevate critical issues affecting scope, schedule, or budget to program management.
* Develop and execute mitigation and contingency plans as needed.
5. Resource Oversight
* Monitor and manage workstream resource allocation and utilization.
* Coordinate resource changes and onboarding as required.
6. Testing & Quality Assurance
* Support planning and execution of testing activities throughout the project phases.
* Ensure test cases align with real business scenarios and processes.
* Coordinate defect management and resolution activities.
7. Change Management
* Serve as a change ambassador, promoting awareness, understanding, and adoption of new processes and systems.
* Actively support transformation activities, training, and communication efforts to ensure sustainable implementation.
