Site Manager for school fit-out project in Kildare. The candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the site, ensuring the work is done safely, on time, and to the highest quality. The role would suit someone with a strong fit-out background.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Ensure the client's expectations are met by delivering a quality product to the end user while fostering professional and amicable relations with design teams and client representatives
2. Maintain the highest standards in health & safety, quality and client service / ensuring that contracts are completed safely, per program, on budget and snag free
3. Manage and coordinate subcontractors ensuring their work is completed to the required standard with little or no rework
4. Plan, co-ordinate, execute the works and deliver the project as per contract documents
5. Resource and schedule work in line with the project construction program
6. Work closely with the project QS advising on any upcoming issues
Key Requirements:
7. Demonstrates an in-depth knowledge of the construction industry and project execution
8. Computer literate and familiar with MS office, project, (or similar scheduling package)
9. Experience working with Common Data Environment (CDE) such as Procore is desirable
10. Ability to develop and maintain client relationships
11. Keen eye for finishes and a proven track record of delivering projects on time
12. Good manager with the ability to motivate and drive the workforce
13. Commercially conscious individual who demonstrates market and competitor awareness
