Vickerstock are working in exclusive partnership with McCabe McGinn to appoint a Finance Manager to their team due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of works.
This role is planned to grow into a Senior Management position quickly.

McCabe McGinn is a specialist contractor working in luxury fit-out across Retail, Commercial and Hospitality projects.
Working with household names such as Hermes, Louis Vuitton, Yves Saint Laurent & Jimmy Choo as well as high street staples like Danske Bank.
McCabe McGinn completes projects across Ireland and the UK, with strong year-on-year growth in both turnover and secured contracts.
Your new role as Finance Manager
Currently in a growth phase, they are adding a Finance Manager to the team to grow a strong team, create new processes and refine current procedures.
This role offers the exciting opportunity to provide commercial insight to take the company's finance processes to a blank slate and rebuild them.
Strategic Responsibilities
Review current financial systems and processes and advise Senior Management on changes to be made going forward
Set up new internal processes for the finance team
Investigate new technology and systems to be implemented
Lead financial audits
Day-to-day Responsibilities
Management of company cash flow and budgets
Oversight of subcontractor & supply chain payments
Oversight of macro cashflow payments
Ensure regulatory compliance, including VAT systems across the UK and Ireland
Management of financial processes across construction operations
Work closely with the Accounts, Quantity Surveying & Procurement teams to ensure financial alignment
What you'll need to be successful
5+ years experience in a Finance position
Experience within Construction, Engineering or Manufacturing industries
Qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA, CPA)
Experience with a range of financial tools such as Intact Xline or Sage.
Strong numerical and computing skills
Strong understanding of Irish construction finance, taxation, and project accounting
Advanced Excel capabilities
Desirable Criteria
Previous experience within a Construction Contractor
Knowledge of both Irish and UK tax systems is beneficial
People Management skills
Experience with Construction ERP systems
