JO-2601-561820Environmental Engineer / Environmental Compliance Lead - Dublin 22 Site-based | Pharmaceutical Manufacturing, Dublin 22We are seeking an experienced Environmental Engineer to lead environmental compliance, regulatory engagement, and sustainability initiatives at a pharmaceutical manufacturing site operating under an Integrated Environmental Licence (IEL).This is a primarily on-site role with responsibility for ensuring compliance with Irish and EU environmental legislation while driving continuous improvement in environmental performance.Key ResponsibilitiesAct as Site SME for the Integrated Environmental Licence (IEL)Manage environmental compliance, permits, and statutory reporting (AERs)Lead EPA and regulatory inspections, audits, and licence reviewsMaintain and improve the ISO 14001 Environmental Management SystemOversee environmental monitoring (air, water, waste, energy, noise)Support EIAs / ERAs for capital projects and process changesDrive waste reduction, resource efficiency, and sustainability initiativesDeliver environmental training and promote a strong EHS cultureRequirementsDegree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related discipline5+ years’ experience in environmental engineering within regulated manufacturing (pharmaceutical or chemical industry preferred)ISO 14001 Lead Auditor certificationDGSA / Dangerous Goods certificationStrong knowledge of environmental regulations and complianceExperience working with regulatory authorities and auditsSite-based availability (non-hybrid role)Monday–Friday working pattern (core hours 10:00–15:00)Applicants need to have a Stamp 4 or to have unrestricted full working rights for Ireland
