Security Officer Opportunity at the 4* Court Yard Hotel, Leixlip, Co. Kildare.
The Court Yard Hotel is a part of the Moriarty Group, which is an Irish owned company, involved in both the retail grocery and hotel industries. The company owns three large SuperValu, Stores in Balbriggan, Skerries and Palmerstown and two 4* hotels, the Courtyard Hotel, Leixlip, Co. Kildare and the Bracken Court Hotel in Balbriggan, Co. Dublin. The company currently employees 550 staff.
We are currently seeking to recruit an experienced Security Personnel to join our current in-house team. If you have the relevant qualifications (PSA Licence) and would like to develop your career within a busy property we could have an excellent opportunity for you.
The Role:
The In-house security personnel will work closely with the property management team on all aspects of the properties. This is a part time position working 20 - 30 hrs per week. Candidates must be available to work late nights and weekends.
Main Duties:
* Provide a strong security presence within the property while on duty
* Work closely with the in-house management team regarding all aspects of security within the property
* Provide excellent customer care to customers/guests at all times while carrying out duties
* Responsible for carrying out health & safety and fire checks within the property while on duty
* Carry out security checks of the external areas of the property while on duty including the car-parks
Requirements:
* Must have a current (relevant) PSA Security license
* Must be fluent in the English Language both written and spoken
* Must have 2-3 years experience in a similar role preferably within the hotel/bar industry
* Must have excellent customer care skills
* Excellent knowledge of fire safety and health and safety regulations relevant to the role
* Must have strong people skills
* Must have strong communications skills
