Role Overview
CHI is seeking a hands-on, experienced Telephony and Unified Communications Manager to oversee teams across all CHI facilities. This key position within the Digital Health function involves working across locations and ICT teams to manage and improve telephony and communication solutions.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and deliver reliable, high-performance, cost-effective telephony solutions across CHI.
* Manage dependencies with service desk, infrastructure, and telcos.
* Maintain vendor relationships and integrate support processes with CHI’s digital health systems.
* Provide expert support and guidance to stakeholders.
* Lead enhancements, upgrades, and project implementations for telephony and communications systems.
* Align local needs with CHI’s strategic goals.
* Support transition activities for new hospital resources and systems.
* Participate in system architecture planning and Change Advisory Board activities.
* Manage projects related to telephony and unified communications.
* Support integration of EHR and other clinical/corporate systems.
* Engage in ITIL processes such as change management, incident, and problem management.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will:
* Collaborate with leadership to plan and manage network, security, and upgrade projects.
* Lead complex teams to deliver high-quality, customer-focused outcomes.
* Provide strong leadership and strategic direction.
* Develop and track project plans and communicate progress.
* Manage risks, issues, and scope within governance frameworks.
* Prepare and review key project documentation.
* Balance schedules, scope, and resources for optimal results.
* Maximize ITSM platform investment, including ServiceNow for incident, request, problem, and change management.
* Develop performance metrics for service delivery and cost efficiency.
Essential Criteria
* A relevant 3rd level degree/post-graduate qualification in Technology, Science, or related field.
* Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role, or 7+ years’ relevant experience if qualification criteria are unmet.
