Our client is seeking a skilled Bookkeeper to join their finance team. Due to significant growth, they are strengthening their finance function to support this expansion.
* Maintain accurate financial records using accounting software.
* Process accounts payable and accounts receivable.
* Perform bank reconciliations and manage petty cash.
* Prepare and submit returns.
* Assist with VAT compliance.
* Reconcile supplier statements and resolve queries.
* Manage subcontractor payments and ensure accurate record keeping.
* Support payroll processing and assist external auditors with year-end preparation.
* Generate periodic financial reports for management review.
* 3+ years experience in bookkeeping.
* A relevant accounting qualification is advantageous.
* Proficiency in accounting software.
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
* Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
* Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
