About the Role:
The Logistics Coordinator for Culinary Operations will play a vital role in supporting the success of our team by ensuring the smooth preparation and delivery of meals at sea and ashore.
This position involves working closely with the culinary team to plan, prepare, and serve nutritious meals that meet the highest standards of quality and variety.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan, prepare, and deliver meals that meet nutritional standards and are appealing to crew members.
* Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to maintain high standards of hygiene, safety, and efficiency.
* Participate in menu planning, stock control, and provisioning for operations of varying duration.
* Support the training, supervision, and mentoring of junior and trainee chefs.
* Assist in emergency response situations as part of the ship's wider crew duties.
Requirements:
* Citizenship: Must be an Irish citizen or legally entitled to work in Ireland.
* Character & Fitness: Must meet medical, physical, and security clearance standards.
* Age: 18-39 years on the date of application.
* Qualifications: FETAC Level 6 in Culinary Arts or national equivalent.
