Facilities Management - Head Office, Dunboyne, Co. Meath
An exciting opportunity to join Ireland's leading independent manufacturer of concrete and bituminous construction materials. We are currently looking for an experienced Grounds Maintenance Operative to join our Facilities Management team. This position is based at our Head Office in Dunboyne, Co. Meath.
The successful candidate will have experience in grounds maintenance. They will be proactive and meticulous in the upkeep of the Headquarters Site and will carry out some sample work over the Winter months.
We are open to full-time or part-time applications for this position.
Responsibilities:
* Cut lawn using hand mower including trimming and edging around the site.
* Power Blow / Sweep walkways of debris.
* Trim hedging and remove weeds.
* Perform minor repairs and maintenance procedures on equipment utilized in grounds keeping.
* Removal of waste, blowing, vacuuming and collection of grass and foliage clippings.
* Landscaping Duties as required in all weather conditions.
* Shovel snow/debris from walkways and car parks around site including spreading of salt when required.
* Work with merchandising team to help prepare samples and sample boards of Kilsaran products.
* Ensuring site and yard are in good condition, weed free, clean, removal of old stock if required and delivery of samples.
* Be fully compliant with Company Health & Safety: policies, procedures, systems, and rules, report all hazards and incidents and ensure that you work safely at all times.
Skills Required:
* 3 years' experience in a site maintenance/landscaping role.
* Knowledge of paving products is an advantage.
