Regional Strategy and Operations Lead
Drive business growth and product expansion across Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) by developing and implementing strategic initiatives that support small- and medium-sized business (SMB) growth.
About the Role
The EMEA Revenue Strategy and Operations team partners with EMEA Google Customer Solutions Business leaders on strategy, manages business processes, and improves core systems and infrastructure. We collaborate with the Global Sales Analytics and Solutions team, Marketing, and other GCS leaders to define a sustainable growth path for GCS.
We are looking for a Regional Program Manager to work with the Global Programs team and the Regional executive sponsor to shape, launch, and implement program changes in EMEA GCS. Your responsibilities include:
* Coordinating quarterly operations and training managers to ensure seamless execution of programs.
* Engaging with sales representatives and managers to gather insights and develop strategies based on data to improve program performance regionally.
Key Responsibilities
* Developing and implementing strategic initiatives that drive SMB growth and product expansion.
* Partnering with the VP of GCS EMEA and leadership to engage with key customers and cross-functional teams.
* BUILDING a network within the sales team to gather feedback and foster a high-functioning sales organization.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience;
4 years of experience in management consulting, sales operations, business strategy, investment banking, venture capital, private equity or corporate advisory, or 2 years of experience with an advanced degree;
2 years of experience developing business strategies or managing cross-functional initiatives;
2 years of experience working with executive stakeholders.
Preferred qualifications:
Experience delivering quality outputs in a fast-paced environment while working with tight deadlines and contributing to a dynamic environment;
Understanding how to identify key business drivers, trends, and operating metrics from data;
Understanding the SMB segment and its needs and challenges;
Ability to manage ambiguity and adapt quickly to changing demands of the business;
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate insights to executives and cross-functional stakeholders.
