Excel recruitment agency in partnership with a leading hospital are currently looking for an experienced Radiographer to join their expanding Diagnostic Imaging Department.

As a Radiographer, you will be responsible for providing high-quality radiography services to both inpatients and outpatients, working collaboratively with a dedicated team of Radiographers and under the leadership of an exceptional Radiology Manager committed to your professional growth.
The department offers a comprehensive range of services including General and Emergency Radiography, CT, Fluoroscopy, Interventional Radiology, Nuclear Medicine and Ultrasound services. You will have the opportunity to cross-train and develop your imaging skills in this dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Participate daily in the general radiography service, proactively engaging in training for upskilling and professional development.
* Contribute to out-of-hours service as required.
* Maintain high standards in patient care and radiographic techniques ensuring adherence to radiation protection principles and follow local rules.
* Comply with statutory directives and keep clinical and technical knowledge up to date seeking advice and training where necessary.
* Ensure a clean safe working environment in line with health and safety guidelines.
* Report any equipment faults to the designated supervisor and log them appropriately.
* Participate in routine Quality Assurance procedures and support the hospital accreditation process as needed.
* Comply with all relevant legislation hospital policies and departmental procedures.
Eligibility Criteria:
* Diploma/Degree in Radiography.
* CORU registration essential.
* 1-2 years experience working in a Radiography Department.
* Experience in CT MRI and/or DEXA highly advantageous.
* Knowledge of RIS systems and experience with on-call services.
* Flexibility to work in the General Department and adapt to a dynamic healthcare environment.
* Strong awareness of Radiation Safety and Health & Safety regulations.
* Current knowledge of Diagnostic Radiography theory and practice.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
* An enthusiastic attitude and proactive approach to learning.
* Strong self-management and teamwork abilities.
