We are seeking an inspirational, dynamic, reflective, conscientious and containing individual to join us to lead a staff team and to work with children, young people and their families within our 0-18 multi-disciplinary Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) team in NHS Grampian. The successful candidate will be part of an innovative and supportive multi-disciplinary Child and Adolescent Mental Health team, with a key role to lead the Aberdeenshire area Psychology team. The role includes direct clinical work as well as leadership, management, supervision and consultative work. Alongside the Professional Lead and Consultant Clinical Psychologist’s with responsibility for Aberdeenshire and Moray, the role also includes developing the CAMHS Psychology team. Extensive post qualification experience of working within CAMHS and working collaboratively with other professional groups and partner agencies is essential. Experience of leadership, management of demand and capacity, and post qualification published research / audit will be advantages.
One-to-one, peer and multi-disciplinary supervision structures are in place to support professional reflection and growth. The post holder will require a high degree of professional autonomy and self-management, and will be required to account for their professional practice through appraisal and audit.
