Job Role: Motor Claims Specialist
We are seeking an experienced Motor Claims Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in motor claims handling or first notice of loss (FNOL), with a solid understanding of claims processes, liability disputes, and resolution strategies.
* Lead thorough investigations using policy wordings, documentation, and third-party input to ensure accurate claim resolutions.
* Assess and settle claims within authority limits while maintaining meticulous records.
* Identify fraud risks and subrogation opportunities, escalating where necessary to maximize outcomes.
* Prioritize claims management to meet service level agreements (SLAs) and drive efficient claim closure.
* Provide technical guidance and support to junior colleagues to foster a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
* APA qualification is essential; CIP certification (or working towards it) is highly desirable.
* Develops sharp decision-making skills and maintains a customer-centric mindset to deliver exceptional results.
* Exhibits excellent communication, documentation, and negotiation abilities to build strong relationships and achieve successful claim outcomes.
* Manages a diverse caseload in a fast-paced environment while prioritizing tasks effectively to meet deadlines.
* Familiarity with best practices for fraud protocols and reserving is essential for this role.
* Team-oriented, curious, and committed to ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulations.
