Lead Java Developer Day Rate Contract (12 months), Hybrid Working (2/3 days onsite) Responsibilities: Lead Microservices enablement, covering delivery and platform management. Collaborate with teams to define, design, and implement features. Guide and mentor a team of 6+ developers, ensuring best practices are followed. Conduct code reviews and provide technical oversight across the team. Communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Work directly with customers to understand requirements and provide solutions. Required Experience: 5+ years of experience in Java-based Microservices on Azure. Expertise in API design and security. Experience with CI/CD using Azure DevOps. Strong understanding of BDD and Microservices best practices. Hands-on experience in unit testing. Experience in the insurance industry is a plus.
