Occupli are delighted to exclusively partner with our client a FMCG Multinational.We are currently recruiting for a Shift Manager (Production).Process & People Management in this very busy role, required to be a problem solver and manage a core team of operators.Shift ManagementLeading the Team to achieve targets/KPIsSet weekly targets and objectives for the Shift TeamEnsure the highest standards of product quality, integrity and hygieneMaintain excellent standards of Good Manufacturing Practice and Good Housekeeping PracticeMonitor and control costsSafe working practices of the team, contractors and visitorsEnsure team are trained, ensure quality, safe procedures / process.Maintain and nurture positive working relationships and ensure effective communication at all levelsEnsure all work areas and equipment within your control are regularly and properly maintained to deliver optimum performanceMaximise employee contribution and drive improvements in product quality and process/system efficienciesLiaise with QA & QC, logistics, technical and maintenance teams to achieve optimum resultsInterface with HR in relation to employee performance/developmentRequirementsThe Shift Manager will be expected to cover for the Production Manager when absent and support the Production Manager in other areas of production.Contribute to the overall department performance plan in the areas of Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Motivation and EnvironmentDrive correct usage, maintenance and development of all production systemsEnsure traceability of the raw materialsExperience2 years + experience in a management/supervisory role in the manufacturing IndustryThird level qualification in a related field is desirableSAP/MES Scada experience highly desirableUnderstanding of Microsoft Suite is requiredProven problem solving and troubleshooting skills
