Key Account Manager – Healthcare (AFEMEA)Function: Sales & MarketingSub-function: Key Account ManagementBusiness Group / Unit: AFEMEA / HealthcareLocation: Open within the European UnionReports to: Senior Sales & Marketing DirectorContract Type: PermanentLegal Entity: Amcor Group GmbH, Zurich, Switzerland(Employment contract will be issued in accordance with local legal requirements of the hiring country.)Role PurposeThe Key Account Manager is responsible for the strategic management and growth of assigned regional key accounts within Amcor's Healthcare portfolio. The role focuses on defending and expanding existing business, accelerating profitable growth, developing new opportunities, and driving sustained margin improvement.This position requires a strong balance of strategic thinking and hands-on execution, with accountability for building long-term, value-creating partnerships and increasing share of wallet through disciplined account planning and cross-functional collaboration.Scope & ImpactAccounts: 2–3 regional key accountsRevenue Responsibility: €25–30 millionGeographic Coverage: Continental EuropeStakeholder Engagement: High, with significant strategic influence across functionsKey ResponsibilitiesOwn and manage assigned key accounts to maximize revenue, profitability, and long-term valueDevelop and execute robust account strategies and business plans aligned with Amcor's portfolio, innovation roadmap, and sustainability ambitionsBuild deep, trusted relationships with senior customer stakeholders, identifying decision-makers and influencers beyond procurementLead complex commercial negotiations, representing Amcor's interests and influencing outcomes at senior levelsMonitor account performance against targets, KPIs, pricing, and margin objectives; initiate corrective actions as requiredDrive growth through disciplined pipeline management and identification of new business opportunitiesCollaborate closely with R&D, Marketing, Operations, and Supply Chain to ensure successful execution of account strategiesEnsure demand accuracy and service excellence through close coordination with Operations and Supply ChainMaintain accurate and up-to-date customer plans using Amcor's internal tools and processesQualifications & ExperienceEducation & Professional BackgroundDegree in Sales, Engineering, or a related field, with a strong commercial mindsetMinimum 5 years' experience in a large-scale B2B environmentExperience within manufacturing, preferably in Healthcare or Medical marketsProven track record of delivering profitable growth with large, complex accountsStrong project and process management capabilities, with the ability to manage multiple prioritiesFluent in English; additional European languages are a strong advantageSkills & CompetenciesAbility to translate strategy into clear, actionable plans and execute them effectivelyStrong customer focus with a natural balance between account development ("farming") and opportunity creation ("hunting")Excellent negotiation, decision-making, and influencing skillsStrong analytical capability, including pricing, margin management, and KPI-driven decision-makingComfortable operating in complex, matrix organizations and engaging with diverse stakeholder groupsAgile and adaptable, with the ability to respond to changing market dynamics and mitigate riskDemonstrated leadership through coaching, collaboration, and influence rather than direct authorityLeadership Expectations (Amcor Leadership Framework)Leading SelfDemonstrates purpose, optimism, and alignment with Amcor's vision and strategyApplies a strategic mindset, understanding the impact of decisions and anticipating future trendsLeading TeamsEngages and motivates others through clarity, transparency, and inclusionContributes to talent development through coaching, feedback, and collaborationLeading the BusinessChampions customer focus and continuous improvementSets priorities, drives results, and removes barriers to performanceEncourages innovation, learning, and constructive risk-takingBuilds strong relationships and fosters a positive, high-performance cultureAbout AmcorAmcor is a global leader in responsible packaging solutions for food, beverage, pharmaceutical, medical, home, and personal care products.
