Role Overview
We are seeking a hard-working and reliable Commis Chef to join our busy kitchen team.
This role is essential in keeping the kitchen running smoothly and provides the perfect opportunity to gain experience in a fast-paced, professional environment.
Hourly rate: €*****.
Key Responsibilities
Assist chefs with basic food preparation and kitchen duties
Wash, peel, and prepare ingredients as required
Keep kitchen and work areas clean, organised, and HACCP-compliant
Operate dishwashing equipment and manage cleaning of pots, pans, and utensils
Ensure stock is rotated and stored correctly
Support senior chefs with prep during busy service periods
Follow all hygiene, food safety, and health & safety regulations
Maintain a positive, team-focused attitude at all times
Requirements
1 year Previous experience in a kitchen is preferred
Strong work ethic and ability to handle fast-paced environments
Good organisational and time-management skills
Willingness to learn and take direction
Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
Fluent English essential
