Technical Architect – on AWS (ECS & Fargate) | General Insurance Contract - 12 Months (hybrid - 3 days on site)Rate- €600 per day Role Summary We are looking for a Technical Architect to design and govern cloud-native insurance platforms using Angular,, and AWS ECS (Fargate).
You will own solution architecture, guide engineering teams, and ensure scalable, secure, and cost-efficient systems for insurance booking platforms.
Key Responsibilities Design end-to-end architecture for Angular front-end, services, and AWS ECS Fargate environments.
Produce architecture documentation (SAD, HLD/LLD, C4 diagrams, API specs).
Define AWS architecture, networking, IAM, CI/CD, and container standards.
Architect integrations with core insurance systems, pricing engines, CRM/ERP, and third-party platforms.
Ensure security, scalability, observability, and cost optimisation.
Lead design reviews, mentor engineers, and work with business and security stakeholders.
Must-Have Experience10–15 years software engineering, 5+ years as a Technical/Solution Architect.
Strong Angular and architecture experience.
Hands-on AWS ECS (Fargate) microservices deployment.
Deep AWS knowledge: VPC, IAM, API Gateway, Cloud Watch, ECR, S3, RDS/Aurora, Dynamo DB, SQS/SNS/Event Bridge.
CI/CD experience (Git Hub Actions, Azure Dev Ops, Git Lab, or Code Pipeline).
General Insurance domain experience (quote, bind, endorsements, renewals, pricing).
Strong architecture documentation and stakeholder engagement skills.
