We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join our growing team in Dublin. This position plays a key role in supporting the financial operations of the business and works closely with the Midsummer UK finance team.The successful candidate will report directly to the Country Manager.Key ResponsibilitiesProcess customer invoicesManage accounts receivable processes and credit control, including credit limit reviewsProcess supplier invoices and initiate supplier paymentsAdminister and process payroll accurately and on timeSupport cashflow planning and forecasting activitiesPerform bank reconciliations and maintain financial recordsComplete Intrastat reporting and assist with other compliance requirementsCalculate and claim supplier rebatesPreparing and filing company VAT returnsLiaise with internal teams and UK finance colleagues to ensure smooth accounting operationsAbout YouPrevious experience in accounting, bookkeeping and payrollStrong attention to detail and numerical accuracyProficiency in accounting and payroll softwareGood communication and organisational skillsInterest in or experience within the renewable energy sector is an advantageThe ability to learn and work with different cloud software business solutions such as Gmail, Google sheets, Airtable, TrelloWhy Join UsThis is a unique opportunity to be part of the fast-growing renewable energy industry, contributing to a sustainable future while developing your skills within a supportive and collaborative environment.
