TDE Group is growing and we're looking for a motivated First/Second-Year Electrical Apprentice to join our team. You'll receive full on-the-job training while working alongside experienced electricians on a wide range of domestic and commercial projects — including rewires, inspections, new builds, office fit-outs, maintenance, and data cabling installations.
This is a fantastic opportunity to start your career and work towards becoming a fully qualified electrician through a structured SOLAS apprenticeship.
Responsibilities
* Assist with the installation, maintenance and repair of electrical systems and equipment.
* Work on a variety of projects including domestic rewires, new builds, commercial fit-outs, inspections, maintenance, and data cabling.
* Learn to read and interpret electrical plans, drawings and specifications.
* Safely use hand tools and power tools under supervision.
* Follow instructions from senior electricians and work effectively as part of a team.
* Maintain a clean, safe and organised work environment at all times.
* Adhere to all health, safety and quality standards.
Requirements
* Strong interest in the electrical trade and construction industry.
* Willingness to learn, take direction and develop new skills.
* Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
* High attention to detail and safety awareness.
* Full Driving Licence, Safe Pass and Manual Handling Certificate required.
* Based in Kildare; willing to travel within Kildare and surrounding areas.
* Previous site experience is an advantage but not essential.
* Must drive and have own transport.
