FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT
Newvend Ltd, a Distributer, Wholesaler & Vendor with over 800 customers nationwide.
ROLE:
As Financial Accountant, you will report directly to the directors. You will cover core accounting responsibilities and commercial projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Preparation of monthly management accounts with variance analysis and commentary
* Oversight of accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in day-to-day transactions.
* Management of payroll processing in collaboration with external providers.
* Preparation of bi-monthly VAT returns
* Preparation of budgets, forecasts and cashflow reports.
* Support with statutory accounts, external auditors for year-end accounts.
* Drive process improvements, system enhancements, and internal controls.
* Provide financial insights to support decision making within the business
* Get involved in ad-hoc finance projects as the business continues to grow
* Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent) and up to date on current accounting standards and practices, with experience within the retail sector
* Good communication and networking skills across all levels
* Must be able to demonstrate good attention to detail, good judgement showing logical decision making and a hands-on approach
* Proven ability to develop and improve working procedures and processes
* Highly organised and efficient with ability to work under pressure, manage a diverse and competing workload ensuring deadlines are met
* IT literate, and proficient in Microsoft products. Knowledge of Agility would be an advantage but is not essential
THE PACKAGE

Pay: €45,045.35-€65,644.60 per year
