Senior Financial Accountant – Dublin (Hybrid)
A leading Dublin‑based investment management firm is seeking a Senior Financial Accountant to join its expanding finance function.
This role is particularly well‑suited to candidates transitioning from AWM audit or aircraft leasing audit, offering a strong pathway into industry with hands‑on exposure to financial reporting, controls, and investment operations.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for Irish and international entities under IFRS / FRS 102
Own key elements of the month‑end close, including:
Balance sheet reconciliations
Journal postings
Revenue and cost analysis
Produce management and board reporting packs, including variance analysis and KPI reporting
Coordinate with external auditors to ensure efficient and timely audit delivery
Assist with regulatory submissions, including CBI filings and other jurisdictional reporting
Partner closely with investment, operations, and compliance teams to ensure accurate financial information
Support process improvement and finance transformation initiatives, including systems upgrades and automation
Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and ad‑hoc finance projects
Requirements
Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA)
Strong background in:
Aircraft leasing audit
Solid technical accounting knowledge (IFRS or FRS 102 essential)
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a commercial mindset
Excellent communication skills and confidence engaging with senior stakeholders
Advanced Excel skills; experience with Oracle, Workday, or similar ERPs is an advantage
