Overview
Permanent Whole Time Post. UCC wishes to appoint an experienced individual to the role of Head of Advancement (Data, Research and Pipeline Management). The Head of Advancement (Data, Research and Pipeline Management) is a key member of the Advancement Office. The role oversees activities fundamental to the success of fundraising. The post holder will manage a proactive prospect research service to build a strong pipeline and will use data analysis and prospect insights to play an important role in driving fundraising campaign strategy. The role will have oversight of the Gift Acceptance and Due Diligence processes, gift handling and acknowledgement, and managing the due diligence function as it relates to donors, prospective donors and honorees. The post holder will also lead the work with external fundraising consultants, Blackbaud on projects to develop Raiser’s Edge NXT (CRM) database for Campaign reporting and dashboards and will liaise with other external providers of prospect research, due diligence and data mining services.
The successful candidate will be a natural collaborator, with proven project management and prospect research skills. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced manager to make a transformational difference to the Advancement Office\'s infrastructure, in advance of the University\'s upcoming fundraising Campaign.
Responsibilities

* Collaborate across teams, apply project management skills and contribute to the Advancement Office\'s infrastructure ahead of the University\'s fundraising Campaign.
Qualifications
* Natural collaborator with proven project management and prospect research skills.
* Experience in leading and managing teams within an advancement/fundraising environment.
* Ability to work with external consultants and CRM systems (e.g., Raiser\'s Edge NXT) and data mining services.

Appointment may be made on the Admin I Salary Scale: €84,422 - €111,211 (Scale B) / €81,518 - €105,648 (Scale A). Salary placement on appointment will be in accordance with public sector pay policy.
