The position of Director of Finance, Legal and Corporate Affairs has become available at a leading health regulatory authority in Ireland.
\
As the Director of Finance, Legal and Corporate Affairs, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial, legal, and corporate activities of the organization. This includes ensuring compliance with legal and financial obligations, leading the organization's financial strategy, planning, and performance.
\
You will manage financial risk, forecasting, procurement policy, and cost control mechanisms to ensure long-term financial sustainability and regulatory compliance. Additionally, you will oversee the organization's funding structure to ensure that it has the necessary revenue to fund its current and capital expenditure requirements.
\
Furthermore, you will lead and manage the Legal section to provide timely and accurate legal advice to the leadership team and across the organization. You will contribute to the drafting and implementation of new legislation, working with relevant stakeholders to ensure regulatory alignment and clarity.

1. Ensuring the Financial, Legal and Corporate activities are delivered to agreed standards.

2. Leading the organization's financial strategy, planning, and performance.
\
3. Managing financial risk, forecasting, procurement policy, and cost control mechanisms.
\
4. Overseeing the organization's funding structure.
\
5. Leading and managing the Legal section.
\
6. Contribution to the drafting and implementation of new legislation.
\
7. Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with the Department of Health and other relevant bodies and stakeholders.
\
8. Promoting and sustaining a culture of excellence.
\
9. Reviewing processes and making them more efficient, smarter, and informed by experience.
