Job Purpose Delivering and collection of plant machinery, powered access hire equipment and small tools to customers using a range of vans in a safe, professional, and timely manner.
Loads of up to 1.5 Tons.
You will be working in a safety critical role and full compliance with all company protocols and procedures will be critical.

Key skills & Duties Operating commercial vehicles up to 1.5 tons.
Oversee the safe loading of the vehicle/trailer and ensure the load is distributed and secured correctly.
Ensure the loaded equipment is correct against the customer's order and is loaded within the maximum weight allowances of the vehicle.
Follow collection/delivery instructions as per the information on the syrinx system.
Undertaking product familiarization for customers.
Deliver the customer's order in a timely and safe manner with respect for the customer's property.
Handle any issues raised at the point of delivery calmly, effectively, and professionally.
Drive the vehicle safely and in accordance with the Rules of the Road - highway code and legislation.
Ensure the vehicle is not subject to unnecessary damage and report damage and losses of equipment Carry out daily checks and report any defects to the person responsible in the correct manner.
Continually monitor vehicles for mechanical and safety issues and complete defect reports where required.
Report any changes to your driving license including endorsements or disqualifications.
To follow the company rules and directives as set out in the Employee handbook.
Qualifications & Experience Hold a Full ROI Driving license.
Minimum 2 years van driving experience.
Hold the correct category entitlement B, preferably BE towing for twin axle trailers.
Person specification Able to work on own initiative. Drive vehicles in a safe, considerate and professional manner. Strong communication skills Positive Customer Service Ability to educate customers on safe use of equipment (training will be provided) Experience with GPS Navigation, mapping, and route planning. Strong attention to detail Actively promotes and demonstrates health and safety.
