Role Purpose:
We are looking for a competent stores assistant to work in our busy stores department.
Qualifications/Experience:
You will be computer literate, will be customer focused and able to work alone and in part of a team. Also possessing a good attention to detail and a leaving certificate as a minimum.
Key Responsibilities:
The role is responsible for many duties, including but not limited to:
* Inputting of all requisitions into our main computer system
* Generating, collating, collecting, and delivering all pick list for each area
* Ensuring adequate levels of consumables are maintained across all areas
* Deliver all product to the correct areas in clinic
* Rotating stock through FIFO
* Respond to and follow up enquiries by telephone, and personal visits.
* Good communication skills with nursing, catering and cleaning staff on the unit and produce smooth efficient running of each area
* Maintain a high standard of housekeeping and safety in stores
* Monitor and report on activities and provide relevant management information on stock discrepancies and out date stock
