Your Role
We're looking for a passionate and driven AI Security Operations Analyst to join our growing team focused on securing AI systems across Verizon.
Your Responsibilities
* You'll build tooling and operate processes to effectively test AI solutions for vulnerabilities as well as detect attacks on AI systems.
* You'll collaborate with engineers, the red team, the SOC, insider threat program, and others to identify potential AI centric attack vectors.
* You'll participate in threat hunting and purple team exercises designed to validate monitoring and response processes for AI.
* You'll support threat modeling and risk assessments for AI deployments and third-party integrations.
* You'll contribute to the continuous improvement of AI threat intelligence, logging, and monitoring strategies.
* You'll stay current on emerging AI threats, adversarial techniques, and evolving security best practices.
* You'll serve as a trusted advisor to the business and technology stakeholders across the enterprise to partner on AI security concerns.
What We're Looking For
You'll need:
* Experience in cybersecurity operations, SOC, incident response, or similar fields.
* Strong technical knowledge of AI/ML technologies.
* Experience with scripting and database technologies.
* Demonstrated knowledge of AI-related risks and mitigation strategies, particularly for Generative AI solutions.
* Experience working on cross-functional teams including engineering, products teams, legal, and security.
Even better if you have:
* Ability to identify business process risk introduced by GenAI capabilities by leveraging pre-existing knowledge of critical business applications (e.g., MyVerizon, ACSS, etc.).
* Comprehensive understanding of cyber-based frameworks including NIST AI Risk Management Framework, MITRE ATLAS, and OWASP Top 10 LLM.
* Knowledge of large enterprise environments, cloud infrastructure, and services, network protocols, network devices, multiple operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux, etc.), and secure architectures.
* Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, excellent written and oral communication skills, and presentation skills.
* Highly collaborative with ability to articulate ideas and influence peers and senior leaders.
