Description:
We are currently seeking a Warehouse Operative to add to our night shift team. This post is full time hours, Monday to Friday.
Responsibilities:
* Safely and efficiently unload, sort and reload HGVs and vans for delivery the following day with the use of power pallet trucks and forklifts.
* Manually break down and pick orders.
* Follow Manual Handling, Material Handling Equipment (MHE) and any other, role relevant, training.
* Maintain a clean and organised warehouse environment.
* Perform any other general warehousing duties as assigned.
* Adhere to company policies and Health & Safety guidelines.
Requirements:
* Previous warehouse experience is an advantage.
* Fork lift and power pallet truck experience is highly desirable but training can be provided.
* Strong work ethic and reliability.
* Work cooperatively as a part of a team while also being able to work on their own initiative.
* Must be able to communicate effectively through spoken and written English.
* High level of productivity and accuracy with a safety conscious mindset.
