Surgical Sales Specialist (Orthopaedics)

Overview
An opportunity to join a high-performing surgical sales team supporting orthopaedic procedures across the South East. You will work closely with consultants, theatre staff and procurement teams, providing clinical and product support while driving growth across an established territory.
The role
You will take ownership of an orthopaedic portfolio, maintaining existing hospital accounts while identifying and converting new business opportunities. This is a hands‑on, clinical sales role with a strong presence in theatre.
Key responsibilities
Manage and grow orthopaedic business across Waterford and Kilkenny
Develop strong relationships with consultants, nurses and clinical decision‑makers
Provide in‑theatre support during surgical procedures
Deliver product training and education to clinical staff
Support product adoption and ensure correct usage
Work closely with procurement teams and support tender processes
Maintain high service levels to ensure seamless support for surgical cases
Identify and win new business within the territory
Support regional colleagues with case coverage when required
About you
Experience or strong knowledge of orthopaedics, trauma, anatomy and surgical techniques
Previous surgical sales or clinical support experience preferred
Scrub experience is an advantage
Confident communicator with strong relationship‑building skills
Self‑starter who can manage territory activity independently
Highly organised with strong prioritisation skills
Full driving licence required
