As a key member of our organization, the Payroll Administrator plays a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and compliance of weekly payroll for 75 employees. This involves maintaining employee records, timesheets, and holiday/sick leave entitlements.
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and submitting payroll-related returns to relevant authorities, handling employee payroll queries promptly and professionally, and supporting accounts payable and receivable functions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Process weekly payroll for 75 staff members
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records
* Prepare and submit payroll-related returns in accordance with regulations
* Handle employee payroll queries efficiently and effectively
* Support accounts payable and receivable functions, including invoice processing and supplier payments
* Reconcile bank accounts and payroll reports
* Assist with month-end and year-end reporting
* Maintain accurate filing and documentation for audit purposes
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
* Minimum 2 years of experience in payroll administration
* Excellent organizational and communication skills
* Proficiency in payroll software and systems
