Job Description
At AECOM, we are currently recruiting for a Principal Electrical Engineer to join our team in our Dublin, Cork, or Galway offices.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage the electrical engineering team across Ireland.
Deliver high-quality electrical design solutions on both stand‑alone and multi-disciplinary projects.
Mentor and support engineers and technicians, fostering professional growth and technical excellence.
Build and maintain strong client relationships, identifying new opportunities while strengthening existing partnerships.
Act as Project Manager on electrical‑led and multi‑disciplinary projects, ensuring successful delivery from concept through completion.
Drive innovation by solving complex electrical engineering challenges with creativity, technical expertise, and a forward‑thinking approach.
Qualifications
Degree Qualified – MEng or BEng in Electrical Engineering (preferred).
Chartered Engineer (CEng) status.
Proven Experience – Strong track record delivering mechanical engineering projects in a consultancy or similar environment.
Sector Expertise – Experience across key sectors including healthcare, leisure, commercial, and higher education.
