We are seeking a motivated Junior Mechanical Project Engineer to join a growing engineering team in Dublin. This is an excellent opportunity for an early‑career engineer to gain hands‑on project experience, develop strong technical skills, and work alongside senior professionals on a wide range of mechanical engineering projects.
The successful candidate will demonstrate all aspects of mechanical design, technical skills, gain hands on project experience, and work closely with senior engineers on diverse mechanical engineering projects.
5. Assist in reviewing drawings, specifications, and schedules to ensure compliance with applicable standards and project requirements. Support the team to ensure works are installed according to Project specifications and QA plan.
6. Support the development of engineering alternative solutions, including calculations and sketches, for review and approval by senior engineers and clients.
7. Familiarise with Design/IFC specifications and drawings to understand the project scope and assist in ensuring compliance with specifications and schedule priorities. Assist in generating and managing Requests for Information (RFIs) to submit to the client.
8. Support the review of coordinated construction drawings and documentation. Assist in preparing technical submittals for client approval.
9. Assist in reviewing specialist supplier packages to ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and design intent.
10. Prepare and monitor procurement schedules in coordination with the procurement team.
11. Support the review of BCAR preliminary inspection plans and coordinate with the quality team as required.
12. Assist as required with onsite activities including set up of automated setting out machines and quality control inspections.
The successful candidate will have an appetite for continuous learning, will be an excellent communicator, highly organised with strong inter-personal skills. Experience dealing with multiple stakeholders as well as being technically proficient is essential. This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate.
