The Well Pet Hospital in Sligo is seeking a skilled and compassionate small animal veterinary surgeon to join a thriving team. This permanent, part-time position offers flexible working hours, a structured rota with shared weekend and on-call duties, and a balance between clinical variety and personal life.
Role details
* Permanent, part-time position (approx. 20 hours/week) - 2 flexible days per week, with no fixed days
* Shift hours range from 7:30am to 6:30pm
* On-call responsibility: one night per week, plus one in five weekends (Saturday & Sunday)
* Competitive salary up to €60,000 FTE, depending on experience

What we’re looking for
* VCI registered Veterinary Surgeon
* Proficiency in small animal consultations and surgery
* Competence in managing sole charge and out-of-hours emergencies
* An interest in dentistry is highly advantageous
This position is best suited to experienced clinicians; it is not appropriate for new graduates or those needing extensive supervision.
