Project Coordinator Role
This role involves supporting and leading smaller work packages across residential and commercial projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist with project planning and coordination, including short-term lookaheads and trackers.
* Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, plant and materials; raise and track Requests for Information (RFIs).
* Support site meetings, minutes, action logs, and progress reporting.
* Maintain health and safety compliance, including RAMS reviews, inductions, and Toolbox Talks (TBTs), as well as ensuring a safe working environment.
* Implement quality assurance and inspection testing plans, snag tracking, photo records, and as-built updates.
* Liaise with the design team, utilities, and local authorities to obtain necessary permits and conduct inspections.
* Monitor costs, variations, and procurement alongside the commercial team.
* Contribute to handover packs, including operation and maintenance manuals, warranties, certificates, and BCAR support.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will require:
* At least 2 years of experience in construction, preferably in a project coordinator or engineering background.
* A relevant degree or diploma in construction, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience with strong trade knowledge and project management skills.
* Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
* A working knowledge of MS Project or similar software, Excel, and snag/QA applications.
* A full clean driver's license and willingness to travel between sites.
* Safe Pass and manual handling certifications, or the ability to obtain them promptly.
