OverviewOur client – a highly successful, Irish-headquartered organisation undergoing rapid global expansion – is seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Finance Professional to lead their Global Accounts Payable operations.This is a pivotal role within the finance function, offering genuine career progression, strategic impact, and the opportunity to build a high-performing AP function with global reach.As Shared Services Manager, you will be responsible for shaping and executing the end-to-end Accounts Payable strategy, leading a team across multiple jurisdictions, and supporting the integration of a new offshore finance function.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and oversee global Accounts Payable operations, ensuring timely and accurate processing of supplier invoices and payments across all entities.Standardise and optimise AP processes across regions, embedding automation and best-in-class workflows.Partner with internal stakeholders (Finance, Procurement, IT) to ensure alignment and smooth execution of financial operations.Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing AP team, including the integration of a new shared services unit in India.Manage key global supplier relationships, ensuring effective issue resolution, reconciliations, and service delivery.Drive a continuous improvement culture with a strong focus on compliance, internal controls, and audit readiness.Monitor KPIs, service levels, and reporting to ensure operational excellence and stakeholder satisfaction.Ideal Candidate10+ years’ experience in finance operations or shared services, with a proven track record in Accounts Payable leadership.Demonstrated experience managing multi-entity or global finance teams.Strong ERP knowledge (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite highly desirable).Excellent stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to build relationships across finance and non-finance teams.Passion for process improvement, systems optimisation, and driving automation.Solid understanding of regulatory and tax requirements (e.g., VAT, RCT, Withholding Tax).Proven leadership skills – capable of coaching, developing, and inspiring teams.Energetic, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-driven environment.What’s on OfferExcellent salary and benefits package.Hybrid working model based in Limerick.Opportunity to lead a global function and influence strategic decision-making.A collaborative, people-first culture within a high-growth organisation.Strong career progression pathway for the right candidate.
