Opening for Store person/ Crane Operator - day and Afternoon shift
Due to continued growth, Brice Metals, a member of the Southern Steel Group and the leader in steel distribution and processing, requires Store person/ Operator to join our processing team located at Cavan.
About the role:
Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, you will be working in the warehousing and distribution within the steel industry. In this position you will primarily be using an overhead dual hoist gantry crane to move structural long products in the bays, load/unload trucks and machine infeed and outfeeds.
Responsibilities and qualifications
* Knowledge of operating overhead crane (Essential)
* Knowledge of CNC machine experience (preferred)
* Some previous experience in a similar role with knowledge of steel products would be an advantage
* A “can do” attitude and attention to detail
