Job Title: EHS Advisor
We are seeking an experienced and qualified professional to develop, monitor, and implement a comprehensive Environmental Health and Safety Management system.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with Health and Safety Regulations at all times.
Main Responsibilities:
* Implementing our Environmental Health and Safety policy, procedures, and management systems.
* Providing advice, guidance, and instruction in all health & safety matters to management, safety representatives, and employees (including sub-contractors where appropriate).
* Ensuring overall compliance with Environmental, Health & Safety statutory provisions & legislation.
* Delivering Health & Safety training programs, such as inductions, for new employees or sub-contractors working on site.
* Coordinating the review and development of task-specific EHS documentation, including method statements, risk assessments, safe plans of action, and permit-to-work.
* Conducting regular inspections and site audits, reporting findings to site and senior management.
* Ensuring that all incidents are reported, recorded, investigated, and lessons learned communicated.
* Promoting a healthy and incident- and injury-free workplace.
Requirements:
* Holding a relevant third-level qualification in Environmental, Health, and Safety.
* At least 3 years' experience, preferably on large projects.
* A full, clean driving license.
* Excellent IT skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office, including strong Excel skills.
* The ability to work independently and exhibit strong interpersonal and communications skills.
* The ability to build strong working relationships and manage stakeholders effectively.
