The opportunity is to work on KKR Credit's Corporate Controllership team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success and advancement in prior roles and will be a person who has demonstrated strong problem-solving skills, a solid background in accounting and is also someone who has a great appetite for knowledge and professional growth. Previous experience with European regulatory reporting and compliance is a plus (CBI, AIFM, etc)RESPONSIBILITIESPerform accounting work across various systemsResponsible for detailed equity accounting and analysis, including complex partnership equity accounting analysis and management fee / carried interest computationsActive role in corporate reporting including preparation of quarterly financial statements as well as underlying analysis and commentary. Also prepare annual GAAP financial statements and coordination of audits with external auditorsInvolvement with operational duties including month end close procedures, expense analysis, regulatory reporting, banking and cash management reconciliations, etcAssist with ad-hoc requests, investor questions, and frequent interaction with our marketing / client management, fund accounting and legal departmentsFrequent project coordination workAssist in driving accounting, reporting and business process simplification and efficiency initiativesQUALIFICATIONSProfessional with at least +6 years of accounting or industry experience with an understanding of private funds, partnership accounting and financial instrumentsUndergraduate degree required. CPA/Chartered Accountant and/or advanced degree in finance or related field preferredStrong verbal and written communications skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organizationAdvanced user of Excel and highly proficient with MS Word and MS PowerPointPrior experience with SAP a plus, but not requiredAbility to work independently as well as collaboratively in a growing environmentProven ability to manage multiple demands and projects in a fast-paced work environment, including ability to prioritize time efficiently and handle heavy workloads while remaining attentive to detailHighly developed planning and organizational skills; able to anticipate change, adjust responses accordingly, and initiate steps to maximize resources toward a common objective#LI-ONSITE
