Healthcare Assistant required for Kiltipper Woods Care Centre, Kiltipper Road, Dublin 24

Kiltipper Woods Care Centre, established in 2004 and based in Dublin 24, is expanding its team and recruiting Healthcare Assistants for full-time and part-time positions. Our purpose-built centre offers a range of specialist care services including care for the elderly, younger persons with disabilities, individuals with Dementia/Alzheimer's, and step-down, convalescence, and rehabilitation care. We also provide outpatient rehabilitation and wellness therapies through physiotherapy and hydrotherapy clinics.
Role and Responsibilities
* Assist Nursing Staff in delivering resident/patient care under the supervision of the Nurse Manager and Staff Nurses.
* Ensure high standards of care are maintained, aligning with the centre's mission, vision, and values.
* Support the Clinical Nurse Manager in implementing policies.
* Demonstrate behaviour consistent with the centre's values.
* Participate in health education and promotion activities.
* Maintain confidentiality and privacy of residents, patients, families, and staff.
* Act in the best interest of residents and patients.
* Establish respectful and supportive relationships with residents to promote independence.
Candidate Requirements
* QQI Level 5 in healthcare support (major award).
* Experience caring for older persons.
* Good communication skills.
* Caring and compassionate nature.
