We are seeking a skilled Chief Engineer to join our team.
Echelon Data Centres is an international data centre infrastructure developer providing large-scale assets to support the growing global demand for data and computing resources sustainably, responsibly and with due regard for the environment.
The ideal candidate will have experience in ensuring continuous operation of all mechanical and electrical services. They will be responsible for planning, implementing, coordinating and managing all mechanical & electrical operations maintenance communications energy management manpower development programs.
This includes managing technical staff direct employees outsourced supply partners external contractors SME for mechanical & electrical services operations within the assigned site assisting in operations maintenance issues troubleshooting problem solving as required owner of site mechanical & electrical services operational procedures continuous improvement preventative maintenance programs developing/maintaining effective building-specific maintenance safety procedure manuals coordinating maintenance efforts change control external service providers contractors interface project delivery team commissioning operational readiness Echelon delivery projects health safety champion risk identification mitigation within assigned work areas ensures continued accuracy M&E services safety files drawing registers operational procedures asset registers CMMS plans responds emergency situations customer concerns implements administers inventory control programs/purchases parts supplies ensures compliance applicable codes legislation company directives building M&E services operations other duties as assigned qualifications minimum years relevant experience time served mechanical or electrical apprenticeship Bachelor's degree associated engineering discipline experience new data centre/facility start up commissioning desirable but not essential direct experience managing data centre mechanical electronic services contributing site availability continuous improvement thorough understanding critical system infrastructure comprehend analyse interpret engineering drawings P&ID safety files manuals proven integrating new projects/services critical environments directly delivered overseeing third-party project teams team player demonstrated enhancing maintainenance strong communicator proven reports updates key stakeholders internal external employment type full-time seniority level mid-senior level location Dublin Ireland remuneration annual subject qualification
