Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Assistant Manager, based in Cork. The Assistant Manager will oversee daily store operations, manage staff schedules, ensure excellent customer service, and maintain inventory and stock levels. They will assist in training new employees, uphold health and safety standards, and collaborate with management to achieve sales targets and operational goals. The role requires hands-on involvement in supporting the team and resolving any customer issues promptly.
Qualifications
* Leadership and team management skills, including ability to delegate effectively
* Customer service and communication skills with a focus on resolving issues and enhancing the customer experience
* Organizational and time-management skills for handling schedules, inventory, and store operations
* Experience with cash handling, budgeting, and meeting sales targets is preferred
* Problem-solving and decision-making abilities in a fast-paced environment
* Proficiency with standard business tools and software
* Previous experience in retail, hospitality, or a related field is advantageous
* Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varied shifts based on business needs
