We are currently seeking Staff Nurses to join our residential disability services, supporting young people with autism, intellectual disabilities, mental health needs, and behaviours that may challenge.
Responsibilities
Provide person-centred, evidence-based nursing care in a residential setting.
Support young people with complex behavioural and emotional needs using positive behaviour support and trauma-informed approaches.
Monitor physical and mental health needs and administer medication in line with best practice.
Work closely with social care, psychology, psychiatry, and allied health professionals.
Contribute to safeguarding, care planning, and regulatory compliance in line with HIQA standards.
Requirements
Active NMBI registration as:
Registered Intellectual Disability Nurse (RNID), or
Registered Psychiatric / Mental Health Nurse (RPN), or
Registered General Nurse (RGN)
Experience working in disability services, mental health, or residential care, ideally with young people.
Experience supporting individuals with autism and behaviours that may challenge.
Strong understanding of safeguarding, risk management, and person-centred care.
Eligibility to work in Ireland.
